Student Testimonials

I was a student of Anchilla’s in 2000. I met her at an English conversation school in Japan. She is really a kind and fun teacher. I think she is the best teacher ever! In the summer of 2009 I visited her in Canada. We had not seen each other for 8 years, but it did not feel like it. I’m really happy to see such a nice person. I want to thank Anchilla for a great experience. She will help you, definitely.

I was a student of Anchilla in 2004 and it was a great experience having her as a teacher. What I most remember about her class was that she was great in torturing us with our english pronunciation while repeating certain english words. She knew very well what were the common mistakes made by hispanic or latin people.

It was nice to have a sore throat after a pronunciation class with her. I really learned a lot and I remember her exactly as her web page says: spicy english, and a spicy sense of humor, I would add. --- Vania Vargas

First of all, congratulations Anchilla!!

Anchilla and I have known each other for almost 4 years now. She was my very first ESL teacher! My english speaking ability was terrible, however, she was really patient when she taught english to me.

I was really impressed when Anchilla spent her own time to help students. Not only was Anchilla a teacher, but also she helped anyone who was away from their own family!! Now I am majoring in Nursing and I really thank Anchilla for teaching and supporting me. --- Hye Seung Choi
